为了加强国家货币出入境管理,维护国家金融秩序,适应改革开放的需要,制定本办法。
These Measures are formulated to strengthen the administration of the entry and exit of national currency, maintain national financial order, and meet the needs of reform and opening up.
本办法所称国家货币,是指中国人民银行发行的人民币。
The term "national currency" as used in these Measures refers to the Renminbi issued by the People's Bank of China.
国家对货币出入境实行限额管理制度。
The State implements a quota management system for the entry and exit of currency.
中国公民出入境、外国人入出境,每人每次携带的人民币不得超出限额。具体限额由中国人民银行规定。
Chinese citizens entering or leaving the country, and foreigners entering or leaving the country, shall not carry Renminbi exceeding the quota per person per trip. The specific quota shall be prescribed by the People's Bank of China.
携带国家货币出入境的,应当按照国家规定向海关如实申报。
Anyone carrying national currency into or out of the country shall truthfully declare it to the Customs in accordance with state regulations.
不得在邮件中夹带国家货币出入境。不得擅自运输国家货币出入境。
It is prohibited to enclose national currency in postal items for entry or exit. It is prohibited to transport national currency into or out of the country without authorization.
违反国家规定运输、携带、在邮件中夹带国家货币出入境的,由国家有关部门依法处理;情节严重,构成犯罪的,由司法机关依法追究刑事责任。
Anyone who transports, carries, or encloses national currency in postal items for entry or exit in violation of state regulations shall be dealt with by the relevant state authorities according to law; if the circumstances are serious enough to constitute a crime, criminal liability shall be investigated by the judicial authorities according to law.
本办法由中国人民银行负责解释。
These Measures shall be interpreted by the People's Bank of China.
本办法自一九九三年三月一日起施行。一九五一年三月六日中央人民政府政务院公布的《中华人民共和国禁止国家货币出入国境办法》同时废止。
These Measures shall come into force as of March 1, 1993. The "Measures of the People's Republic of China for the Prohibition of the Entry and Exit of National Currency" promulgated by the Government Administration Council of the Central People's Government on March 6, 1951 shall be abolished simultaneously.
