根据《中华人民共和国人民警察警衔条例》的规定，制定本办法。
According to《Regulations of the People's Republic of China on the People's Police Rank System》These measures are formulated in accordance with the provisions of，Article 2。
人民警察佩带的警衔标志必须与所授予的警衔相符。
The rank insignia worn by People's Police must correspond to the rank conferred.。
人民警察的警衔标志：总警监、副总警监警衔标志由银色橄榄枝环绕银色国徽组成，警监警衔标志由银色橄榄枝和银色四角星花组成，警督、警司警衔标志由银色横杠和银色四角星花组成，警员警衔标志由银色四角星花组成。
Rank insignia of the People's Police:：Commissioner General、Deputy Commissioner General rank insignia consists of a silver olive branch encircling a silver national emblem.，Superintendent rank insignia consists of a silver olive branch and silver four-pointed star flowers.，Supervisor、Inspector rank insignia consists of silver horizontal bars and silver four-pointed star flowers.，Constable rank insignia consists of silver four-pointed star flowers.。
警衔标志佩带在肩章上，肩章为剑形，分为硬肩章和软肩章。担任行政职务的人民警察的肩章版面为藏蓝色，担任专业技术职务的人民警察的肩章版面为蓝灰色。
Rank insignia are worn on shoulder boards.，Shoulder boards are sword-shaped,，divided into hard shoulder boards and soft shoulder boards.。The background color of shoulder boards for People's Police holding administrative positions is navy blue.，The background color of shoulder boards for People's Police holding technical positions is blue-gray.。
人民警察着常服、执勤服时，佩带硬肩章；着作训服、制式衬衣时，佩带扣式软肩章；着多功能服时，佩带套式软肩章。
When People's Police wear service uniforms、or duty uniforms,，they wear hard shoulder boards.；When wearing training uniforms、or standard shirts,，they wear button-type soft shoulder boards.；When wearing multi-functional uniforms,，they wear loop-type soft shoulder boards.。
总警监警衔标志缀钉一枚橄榄枝环绕一周的国徽，副总警监警衔标志缀钉一枚橄榄枝环绕半周的国徽。
Commissioner General rank insignia features a national emblem encircled by an olive branch for one full circle.，Deputy Commissioner General rank insignia features a national emblem encircled by an olive branch for half a circle.。
警监警衔标志缀钉一枚橄榄枝，一级警监警衔标志缀钉三枚四角星花；二级警监警衔标志缀钉二枚四角星花；三级警监警衔标志缀钉一枚四角星花。
Superintendent rank insignia features one olive branch.，First-class Superintendent rank insignia features three four-pointed star flowers.；Second-class Superintendent rank insignia features two four-pointed star flowers.；Third-class Superintendent rank insignia features one four-pointed star flower.。
警督警衔标志缀钉二道横杠，一级警督警衔标志缀钉三枚四角星花；二级警督警衔标志缀钉二枚四角星花；三级警督警衔标志缀钉一枚四角星花。
Supervisor rank insignia features two horizontal bars.，First-class Supervisor rank insignia features three four-pointed star flowers.；Second-class Supervisor rank insignia features two four-pointed star flowers.；Third-class Supervisor rank insignia features one four-pointed star flower.。
警司警衔标志缀钉一道横杠，一级警司警衔标志缀钉三枚四角星花；二级警司警衔标志缀钉二枚四角星花；三级警司警衔标志缀钉一枚四角星花。
Inspector rank insignia features one horizontal bar.，First-class Inspector rank insignia features three four-pointed star flowers.；Second-class Inspector rank insignia features two four-pointed star flowers.；Third-class Inspector rank insignia features one four-pointed star flower.。
警员警衔标志缀钉四角星花，一级警员警衔标志缀钉二枚四角星花；二级警员警衔标志缀钉一枚四角星花。
Constable rank insignia features four-pointed star flowers.，First-class Constable rank insignia features two four-pointed star flowers.；Second-class Constable rank insignia features one four-pointed star flower.。
担任专业技术职务的人民警察警衔标志的缀钉、佩带办法与担任行政职务的相同衔级的人民警察相同。
The affixing and wearing of rank insignia for People's Police holding technical positions、are the same as those for People's Police of the same rank holding administrative positions.。
人民警察晋升或者降低警衔时，由批准机关更换其警衔标志；取消警衔的，由批准机关收回其警衔标志。
When a People's Police officer is promoted or demoted in rank,，the approving authority shall replace their rank insignia.；If the rank is revoked,，the approving authority shall retrieve their rank insignia.。
人民警察的警衔标志由公安部负责制作和管理。其他单位和个人不得制作、仿造、伪造和买卖、使用警衔标志，也不得使用与警衔标志相类似的标志。
The rank insignia of the People's Police shall be produced and managed by the Ministry of Public Security.。No other unit or individual may produce,、counterfeit,、forge, or trade、or use rank insignia.，Nor may they use insignia similar to rank insignia.。
本办法由公安部负责解释。
These measures shall be interpreted by the Ministry of Public Security.。
本办法自2000年10月1日起施行。
These measures shall come into effect on2000Year10Month1Day.。
